February 2010 Highlights
- Mercury is visible early in the month at sunrise. Look for it low on the horizon 30 minutes before sunrise.
- Venus is not visible this month as it is still lost in the glare of the Sun.
- Mars is bright in February. It will be in the East at sunset and visible for most of the evening.
- Jupiter is lost in the glare of the Sun this month and is not visible.
- Saturn rises around 9pm and is visible to sunrise. Small telescopes easily reveal its wonderful rings which are continuing to open up.

March 2010 Highlights
- Mercury is not visible this month; it is in conjunction with the Sun.
- VVenus is low on the horizon just after sunset the last half of the month. Look for it within 30 minutes of sunset.
- Mars is visible a good portion of the evening and is starting to dim from its bright appearance in January.
- Jupiter re-emerges this month just prior to sunrise mid-month, look for it early in the morning.
- Saturn reaches opposition this month and is visible from sunset to sunrise. The rings continue to open up making them more and more spectacular each month this year.
