Wayfinding & Navigation Programs

Wayfinding & Navigation Programs offered at ‘Imiloa provide a selection of choices for audiences of varying levels of interest. Our October Wayfinding Festival is an excellent opportunity for the general public and the novice enthusiast to meet seasoned voyagers and view the most recent documentary on the subject.

Our youth program targets student’s ages 13-17 years old. Our March ‘Imi Na’auao Program is an invitation-only event for current members and volunteers of ‘Ohana Wa’a Voyaging Organizations. A college level for credit course is currently being offered, Papa Ho‘okele Wa‘a, interested students should check the UH Hilo course calendar for class schedule and contact the instructor for course prerequisites.
