I-WISE—Indigenous Worldviews in Informal Science Education—was a two-part conference in 2015-2016 to advance understanding around the convergent margin of Indigenous Knowledge and Western Science in informal STEM education. Indigenous leaders from the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center of Hawai‘i and the Indigenous Education Institute (IEI) convened two gatherings to plant the seed for relationship building among diverse worldviews.
